China calls for 'proper settlement' of Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict

BEIJING - China on Monday called for an appropriate settlement to conflicts along a disputed border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang made the remarks at a routine press briefing. Clashes between border troops last Friday caused casualties on both sides.
