As internet development enriches the entertainment business, new varieties of entertainment with different formats and content have attracted the young generation and became a force that people cannot ignore in China's modern economy.

Because of that, internet startup service provider 36Kr highlighted the top 10 institutional investors in new entertainment, referring to programs like short videos, livestreaming, esports and social games.

With 2,451 investment projects involving 96 institutional investors since 2012, the list is based on the investors' number of projects, total investments, participation in and returns from projects, and project's influence.
