Extreme Road is a documentary describing Tibet's scenery and people's daily lives. Audiences are moved by their personal relations, such as a young movie projectionist and close friends aged over 60 years old. There are seven episodes in all, and it received a score of 9.4 out of 10 on Douban, a famous movie-commentating website in China.
