Starting on Thursday, international trading companies in Beijing can get all their paperwork done, including customs clearance and export tax rebates, at one department, according to an announcement by the Beijing municipal commission of commerce.

In the past, companies had to go through several platforms in different departments, which took unnecessary time and energy.

The new platform, which allows companies to get all their paperwork done at once, can save more than 90 percent of repetition in data input.

Sun Ying, finance manager of Beifang Equipment Co Ltd, an export company in Beijing, said the new platform will help companies save lots of time for data input, which is great news for finance staff.

"Previously, there was much repetition during our work, which could easily cause mistakes. The new platform will solve the problem and raise work efficiency."
