China's auto sales drop last year

BEIJING - China sold 28.08 million autos last year, down 2.76 percent year-on-year, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed Monday.
Passenger car sales dropped 4.1 percent from the previous year to 23.71 million units, while production fell 5.2 percent year-on-year to 23.53 million units, the association said.
