KAWS, the New York-based graffiti artist, has gained fame, vast followings and a high commercial value in the field of art and fashion, with his artwork sold for HK$100 million ($12.7 million) this April at Sotheby's auction in Hong Kong and his successful collaborations with Dior, Moschino, Vans and Nike in recent years.

KAWS means expensive, but Uniqlo makes it affordable: A T-shirt from KAWS x Uniqlo collection only costs 99 yuan.
