Taikang Insurance Group, one of the country's largest life insurers, will further integrate resources among its insurance, asset management, health and elderly care communities sectors, according to the company's top management.

According to Chen Dongsheng, chairman of Taikang Insurance Group, insurance companies should be the bellweather of the comprehensive health industry and also should play a key role. As a major insurance group in China, Taikang's exiting business covers insurance, hospital, pension and elderly care communities, which put the company in a competitive position to serve its customers.

Taikang has been constantly renovating its insurance service. It has just updated its services for its critical illness insurance policy holders by providing medical treatment assistance services, aiming to give customers one-stop services and making the medical treatment process more efficient and timely. Meanwhile, the company also will introduce overseas medical resources.

The company has invested in Parkway China under IHH healthcare Berhad, the largest healthcare group in Asia. It also has invested in various companies covering sectors like medicine, medical care and medical machines.
