Volkswagen delivered 1.92 million vehicles to take the crown in sales in the first half of 2019 among 12 multinational automakers, followed by General Motors and Toyota, according to rankings from the automotive portal Gasgoo.
The news portal noted that PSA announced its combined sales which included the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets, and Hyundai - KIA had not published its sales in China, which may create differences in the statistical caliber of reported numbers from the 12 automakers and subsequently affect the rankings.
