HEMU unveils new collection at SFW

Chinese brand HEMU launched its new collection at Shanghai Xintiandi on April 11 during the ongoing Autumn/Winter Shanghai Fashion Week.
Inspired by the Yungang Grottoes in Datong, Shanxi province, HEMU, which was founded in Shanghai in 2010, is known for integrating fashion with elements of Chinese history, art and religion.
Yang Fengrui, creative director of the brand, said that the most recommended product this season is their cotton apparel which is weaved using traditional Chinese techniques and features the use of brocade and gambiered Canton silk.
