BEIJING -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday said developed countries should make concrete efforts to help developing countries strengthen the capacity and resilience against climate change.
Developed countries need to increase climate ambition and action, and support developing countries in financing, technology, and capacity building, Xi said while addressing the Leaders Summit on Climate via video link from Beijing.
He called on developed countries to refrain from creating green trade barriers, so as to help developing countries accelerate the transition to green and low-carbon development.
