China maintained high-quality development amid uncertainties this year, a latest report released by data analytics firm Tianyancha showed on Tuesday.

The year of 2021 marked efforts to ignite innovation in agricultural area and rural rejuvenation. In this regard, data from the report showed that 536,000 agricultural enterprises were added this year, bringing the total number to more than 3.89 million, a year-on-year increase of 16.2 percent. Rural e-commerce also registered an explosive development, with 1.24 million rural e-commerce-related enterprises added in 2021.

In clean energy, China saw an increase of more than 89,000 photovoltaic-related companies this year, up 71.4 percent on a yearly basis.

Meanwhile, over 10,000 new wind power-related companies were added, rising 61.5 percent year-on-year; among these new companies, more than 30 percent had registered capital of more than 10 million yuan ($1.57 million). Central China's Hunan province had the most new energy storage-related companies in 2021, accounting for 21.8 percent of the total newly added 3,600 ones.

In 2021, China's novel coronavirus vaccine production capacity was close to 5 billion doses. As of Dec 10, a total of 2.5 billion doses of novel coronavirus vaccine have been administered nationwide. At the same time, technological innovation applied to more medical companies. More than 95,000 smart medical-related companies newly established this year, and the number of medical robot-related companies grew by 45 percent year-on-year.

The public continued to pursue better and smarter services. The report indicated that the number of new energy vehicle-related companies in China this year was 2.4 times that of 2020, and the total amount of financing in related fields exceeded 80 billion yuan.

Electricity replacement is becoming a new business growth point for new energy vehicle manufacturers. And its related companies added 39,000 enterprises in 2021; the total financing amount in the hydrogen fuel cell field was about 1.8 billion yuan, an increase of 80 percent compared to the previous year.

Smart home appliances industries also grew continuously. The report showed that China's small home appliance related enterprises have added more than 190,000 companies this year, an increase of 11.5 percent year-on-year.

As travel and communication was affected by the repeated outbreaks of the pandemics, many enterprises have accelerated their "cloud" application. The report showed that China has added more than 86,000 cloud computing-related companies this year.

The Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics has led to more than 1,300 additional ice and snow sports-related companies, among these, small, medium and micro enterprises have presented their vitality.
