Triplet scholars head off to separate colleges

Lin Shixiang and his brother Lin Shikai left Wuhan, Hubei province, on Monday for Guangzhou, Guangdong province, after accompanying their brother, Lin Shibo, to his freshman registration at Wuhan University.
The 18-year-old triplets from No 5 Senior High School of Meihekou, Jilin province, had excellent scores in this year's national college entrance exam, or gaokao.
Lin Shibo, the firstborn of the three, was admitted to the university with a score of 617 out of a possible 750 points.
The middle brother Lin Shixiang was admitted to Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou with a score of 598, and the third brother, Lin Shikai, has received an admission letter from Shandong University in Jinan, Shandong province, with a score of 585.
