Experience from other countries is that infections increase as COVID restrictions are lifted. We are now in a better place than in early 2020. We now have vaccines, antiviral medication and better hospital treatments. The current variant is less dangerous but should not be underestimated. Take COVID shots when offered and continue to take sensible precautions so we can soon put the virus behind us in China and around the world.
