Organizers of the SS2024 Shanghai Fashion Week recently announced that "Synergy" will be the theme of the upcoming season.
Nearly 100 shows as well as themed events focusing on sustainability, women's power, and cultural inheritance will be held during the event, which will kick off on Oct 8.
The opening show on the evening of Oct 8 will feature Chinese fashion brand ICICLE, while the closing show will be by Stella McCartney.
The latest Shanghai Fashion Week will feature a newly upgraded consumer-facing project - the Fashion Carnival, which will see activities like skateboarding classes, art exhibitions and live music performances held at fashionable landmarks.
