Trin Phuanglamchiak, a Thai employee of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, serves as the deputy chief engineer overseeing the construction of the China-Thailand high-speed railway.
Pride swells within him as he contributes to the flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative.
During a visit to Beijing, Trin found inspiration in Chinese-style architecture, and he plans to explore more cities once the railway opens to the public.
