China continues to take positive and effective actions to promote high-level opening-up and introduce more autonomous and unilateral opening-up policies, and further expand the global network of high-standard free trade zones.

Starting from Sunday last week, China has granted zero-tariff treatment to 100 percent of the tariff items of all the least developed countries that have established diplomatic relations with it.

China is the only major economy to implement this measure. The move is conducive to expanding market access to the least developed countries, promoting inclusive economic globalization, and contributing to global poverty reduction.

China pursues a mutually beneficial and win-win opening-up strategy. Despite the rise of unilateralism and protectionism, the general trend of economic globalization has never changed.

From steadily expanding institutional opening up to deepening the reform of foreign trade, foreign investment and outbound investment management systems, from optimizing the regional opening-up layout to improving and promoting high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road, China is firmly promoting high-level opening up to a larger scope, wider fields and deeper levels.

From this year to 2030, China's cumulative imports from developing countries are expected to exceed $8 trillion, demonstrating China's commitment to sharing its development opportunities and promoting the construction of a fair world of common development.

Global prosperity and stability cannot be built on a widening development gap between countries. China advocates a path of economic globalization that is people-oriented, balanced and inclusive, so that different countries can share the fruits of development.

In recent years, China has actively played the role of being a green channel for African products to enter the world market by supporting the imports of agricultural products from the least developed African countries, helping them to develop their cross-border e-commerce and holding expos to showcase their products to the world.

China's actions have created new opportunities for developing countries and enabled more of them to participate in the process of economic globalization, taking advantage of their comparative advantages in the global industry and supply chains.
