World Snooker Wuhan Open kicks off

Jason Ferguson, chairman of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, said: "We are living in a golden age of snooker, where we have the fortune to see players who can be counted among the sport's greatest legends. This Wuhan Open has drawn an exceptional array of top players."
Meng Hui, vice-mayor of Wuhan, declared the official opening of the tournament.
