Global experts praised China for its efforts in biodiversity and sustainability, acknowledging the country's success in balancing economic growth with environmental protection, during the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves.
Convened by UNESCO every 10 years, the 2025 congress was held from Monday to Thursday in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, marking the first time it has taken place in Asia.
