Representatives from multiple countries at the United Nations reaffirmed their firm support for General Assembly Resolution 2758 and reiterated their commitment to the one-China principle on Monday at the UN Headquarters in New York. The UN General Assembly, at its 26th session, adopted Resolution 2758 by an overwhelming majority, which undertook to restore all its rights to the People's Republic of China and to recognize the representatives of its government as the only legitimate representatives of China to the UN.
