The 2025 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT), a premier platform for exchange and cooperation developed by Wuxi city and Jiangsu province, which focus on the digital economy and next-generation information technology industries, is set to take place from Friday to Sunday in Wuxi.

Significant achievements are scheduled to be unveiled at the opening ceremony on Friday, including the IoT Industry Scale Measurement Index System, the Intelligent Connectivity Development Index, and insights into the 2025 Global IoT Top Ten Trends.

Experts and entrepreneurs with pioneering research and deep practical exploration in the IoT field will be invited to engage in comprehensive discussions on hot topics such as artificial intelligence, satellite internet, and brain-computer interfaces, exploring the cutting-edge paths for the future development of global IoT.

The IoT Products and Applications Exhibition will run for three days at the Taihu International Expo Center, and feature four themed pavilions: IoT Capabilities, Industry Applications, Intelligent Connectivity Ecosystem, and Smart Life.

A total of 387 companies from 15 countries and regions, including the US, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Singapore, will participate. This year's exposition will see an increase of over 100 participating companies compared to last year.

The continuous success of the exposition has significantly propelled the rapid development of the IoT industry in Wuxi.

Since 2016, the event has attracted more than 5,000 top experts and entrepreneurs from 56 countries and regions — establishing itself as one of the largest, most professional, and most influential top-tier events in the global IoT sector.

A total of 3,300 exhibitors has participated, including 87 Fortune Global 500 companies and 322 "unicorn" enterprises, with offline visits exceeding 2 million. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Huawei, and the three major telecom operators have debuted several new products at the exposition.
