GYEONGJU, South Korea -- President Xi Jinping said on Friday that the world now stands at a new crossroads between unity and hegemonism.
In a written speech delivered at the APEC CEO Summit, Xi said that the world faces the question of which path to take -- whether to choose unity and cooperation for mutually beneficial results, or return to hegemonism and the law of the jungle; whether to uphold multilateralism, openness and inclusiveness, or move towards unilateralism and protectionism.
