Previous winners from China, Jiang Wenzhuo and Wang Yunjin, are currently interning at the Pierre Cardin studio in Paris. Cardin expressed high expectations that these emerging designers will bring even more energy and surprises to the team.
The collaboration between Pierre Cardin and the Guangzhou Opera House was partly driven by the venue's environmental design features. Cardin said that the building incorporates resource-efficient concepts and energy-saving drainage systems, which align with the brand's commitment to sustainability.
The company stated that it supports academic and technological efforts related to environmental protection and encourages initiatives aimed at addressing global challenges.
