Turing Award laureate Joseph Sifakis told China Daily that when people, out of laziness or convenience, delegate judgment and decision-making to artificial intelligence, they risk weakening human judgment, free will and responsibility. He warned that young people who rely on AI to complete their homework may undermine their creative thinking. It is like one can never become a better athlete by letting a machine run in their place.
