China has the world's largest maritime fleet and the largest cluster of world-class ports. The country has established shipping routes with more than 100 countries and regions, covering all coastal economies involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. China is a major seafaring nation, with more than 2 million registered seafarers, including 970,000 serving on oceangoing vessels. This highly skilled workforce is playing a vital role in supporting the country's transition from a major shipping nation to a strong maritime power.

Since April 2023, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has achieved one-card access for medical services, allowing people to visit over 64,000 medical institutions with just one social security card. Through collaborative legislation, the application of one card in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in 2024 has expanded beyond healthcare to transportation, tourism, and libraries. These small changes bring tangible benefits to people.

Taiwan compatriots who resisted Japanese invasion and colonial rule demonstrated that people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait form a community with a shared destiny. History shows that Taiwan's restoration to the motherland was a result of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45). Any attempt to distort this history or promote a "Taiwan independence" narrative that seeks to sever the ties between the two sides of the Strait is a betrayal of history and a desecration of the martyrs.
