Material supply lifted for railway repairs

Chinese railway operators have bolstered the supply of railway materials for this year's first-phase centralized repairs in North China. Shanxi Railway Equipment Manufacturing Group Co Ltd has made every effort to ensure supply of materials required for such repairs on Watang-Rizhao Railway which links Shanxi province and Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Beijing-Baotou Railway, and Taiyuan-Fenglingdu Railway. It has scientifically formulated plans for material procurement, quality inspection, logistics and shipping, as well as after-sales services.

Yuan weakens against greenback

The central parity rate of the yuan weakened 82 pips to 6.9223 against the US dollar on Monday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.
