Explaining the restaurant's new direction, Magni pointed to Tuscany's cultural influence and lifestyle. "Tuscany is where Italian culture and language stem from," he said, describing it as "a place of unhurried warmth, where people know how to live well".
He added that the restaurant's repositioning aims to translate that atmosphere into a Beijing setting. "We aren't too formal," he said. "We still work only with the finest ingredients and ensure elegant service, but we want people to experience the feeling of walking into a restaurant in Tuscany."
