Huadian teams up with Standard Chartered

National electricity power giant China Huadian Corporation has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Standard Chartered, said sources from the Stated-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

According to the agreements, the bank will provide financing services to Huadian including currency management and financial consultation. Huadian will also conduct market research with the bank to launch more financial products aimed at the electricity industry.

Standard Chartered said it will fully enter the Chinese market and provide financial support to more Stated-owned enterprises.
