Energy law draft to be outlined

The first draft of China's first energy law will be outlined before the end of next year, said an official on the draft team on December 15.

As planned, the team will hold the second meeting to discuss outlines to establish legislation modes next February. Next April, it will hold an international meeting to learn from other countries and groups' experiences.

From next May to September, the team will collect opinions and suggestions from different levels of governments and the public to amend corresponding rules, and next October, the team will hold the third meeting to suggest the team to pass the draft.
