Chassis enterprises in difficulty

China's bus market recorded a good performance, but specialized bus chassis enterprises faced more difficulties, according to the China Highway Vehicle and Machinery Corp consultant Meng Xianxin.

China has nine specialized bus chassis enterprises with an annual production and sales of 70,000-80,000 units.

According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in the first ten months of this year, China produced and sold 159,100 and 155,600 buses, the production and sales of bus chassis were 81,800 and 81,100 units respectively.
