Net income rose to 47.9 million yuan, or 0.04 yuan a share, in the three months to March 31 from 41.8 million yuan, or 0.05 yuan a share a year earlier, Liaoning-based Huludao said in a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange yesterday.
Sales more than doubled to 2.5 billion yuan from 1.1 billion yuan.
