Changan unveils CV8 concept sedan

Updated: 2007-04-25 09:07 ChangAn Auto, which has joint ventures with Ford and Suzuki, has unveiled its latest self-developed concept, the CV8 sedan. The company expects to begin building a production version of the CV8 in 2008 and eventually plans to export the Civic-size four-door.
Even as it jointly assembles such products as the Ford Fiesta and Mondeo, ChangAn has been quietly developing a range of vehicles under its own Chana brand. The CV8 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the company's new engine family. The concept also features adjustable suspension, satellite navigation, onboard computer and Bluetooth wireless capability. (For more biz stories, please visit Industries)
