Insurers increase stock investments in January

China's insurers increased their stock investments in the first month of the year, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission said on Thursday.

By the end of the January, insurance companies had bought shares worth 13.76 billion yuan and sold stocks valued at 11.6 billion yuan, with a net inflow of 2.1 billion yuan into the stock market, the statement said.
