Blacksmith Luo Futai, 59, owned a small smithy in Xuchang city, Central China's Henan province. Although few people now need metal products handmade by a blacksmith, Luo Futai, who has worked in the industry for more than 40 years, still sticks to his old occupation.

In order to continue his craftsmanship, Luo Futai convinced his son Luo Zhao to learn blacksmithing. Recently, Luo Zhao opened a store on Alibaba Group Holding Ltd's Taobao e-commerce website to rejuvenate this traditional craft.
