iPad Pro: designed for deep pocket devotees or professional users?

Typing text notes out leave way too much white space on either side of the text, and there is certainly some room for fitting more text on the display.

The too-much-white-space is a common trend in app interfaces on iPad Pro, including Facebook and Twitter.

People argue that it seems as though Apple is essentially banking on people always using Split View or Slide Over.

Touch ID reuse and 3D Touch absence

For iPhone 6s/6s Plus users who have experienced the speed-up and improvements of Apple's Touch ID 2.0, the iPad Pro may disappoint as only the first generation Touch ID is embedded on the device.

Meanwhile, 3D Touch, a new technology introduced by Apple to allow users to execute different commands depending on how hard they press the display, is not available on the iPad Pro.

Smart Keyboard

According to Apple, the top of the keyboard itself is crafted from a custom woven fabric that's embossed and laser cut to form the shape of each key. This single sheet of material was specially designed to optimize key feel and stability.

Unlike traditional keyboards, there are no gaps between keys and it's coated in a water- and stain-resistant finish, so the Smart Keyboard is resistant to everyday stains and spilling.

You have to take some time to get used to the layout of the keyboard as some shortcuts may be different from the Mac's physical keyboard. For instance, it provides a language-switch key that lets the user skip between different languages and emoji emoticons.

Apple Pencil

The new Apple stylus stole iPad Pro's thunder although it was not favored by many since its launch. On Apple's online store, the stock sold out very quickly, and now there is still a wait of four to five weeks for shipping.

Multi-Touch has always been at the heart of what makes iPad so easy, intuitive, and versatile. But sometimes your finger doesn't provide quite the precision you need for things like drawing, sketching or drafting a blueprint.

That's the reason behind the birth of Apple Pencil.

The virtually imperceptible latency of Apple Pencil separates it from other creative tools. Latency is the delay between when you begin drawing and the time the drawing itself appears on screen.

The new touch subsystem in iPad Pro knows whether you're using your finger or the Apple Pencil. When iPad Pro senses Apple Pencil, it scans for its unique tip signal at an astounding 240 times per second; giving it the ability to collect twice as many data points as it would with your finger.
