Back to work: this is Owen's first film since his suicide attempt in August

She did, after all, date his Wedding Crashers co-star Vince Vaughn, whom she split from in 2006.

They were speaking regularly over the phone before shooting of the new film had even started, according to reports.

They began growing close in October, two months after his high-profile suicide attempt, when Jennifer sent Owen a copy of her favourite book, The Power Of Now.

Now, another source told the magazine: "She's finding out that he's a terrific guy who's fun to be around."

"Jen is known for being a recluse on set. But she's having so much fun hanging out with Owen. She's just really relaxed and happy, which is nice to see."

Jennifer has been linked to a string of men since her divorce from Brad Pitt.

In recent months, she has spent time with Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom and her Traveling in Vancouver co-star Aaron Eckhart.
