Gavin Rossdale didn't bond with his son Kingston for the first nine months of his life. The former Bush frontman - who welcomed second son Zuma Nesta Rock with wife Gwen Stefani last month - admits he found it difficult to build a relationship with Kingston, now two, at first.

He said: "I felt guilty for the first few weeks - I didn't feel fireworks. But I felt something more subtle, earthy, which grew and grew. "For nine months, he didn't really notice his dad, especially with Gwen breast-feeding all the time.

He added to Britain's Hello! magazine: "I feel a bit bad for our son because he really was the centre of attention all the time every day, as he should have been.
