Robert Pattinson reportedly stands to pocket nearly ￡1 million per episode should the Twilight franchise be taken to the small screen.

The British actor is in negotiations with bosses at Summit Entertainment regarding the TV spin-off, according to Contactmusic.

Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen in the vampire film franchise, would earn ￡938,000 per episode if reports about his involvement are true.

Producers hope to maximise the programme's popularity by launching the series next year.
