Robber crashes stolen taxi, attracting police

A robber tried to push a damaged taxi he had taken from a woman driver on his way home after it crashed into a guardrail along an expressway near Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province.

Seeing the scene, police questioned him and found he was the robber the driver had reported.

He said he got the car easily one day last week by threatening the driver at knifepoint. He then drove it home in a hurry but crashed due to poor driving skills.
