Pet hen lays giant egg

A man in Guangzhou of Guangdong Province, surnamed Ma, is planning to apply
for a new Guinness World Record for a super egg his hen laid on Monday.
The egg is 8 centimetres long with a perimeter of 14 centimetres.
Ma, who raises the hen on his balcony, believes it is the largest egg to be
found in the world to date.
Many of Ma's neighbours, friends and relatives have gone to his home to view
the egg.
