Hu, Medvedev meet for deepening strategic partnership

After the talks, the two presidents signed a joint statement on the current international situation and on major international issues. They also witnessed the signing of a number of cooperative documents between the two countries.
Hu and Medvedev also attended a concert marking the 10th anniversary of the signing of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation.
Hu arrived in Moscow Wednesday for a state visit. He will later travel to St. Petersburg to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
