GUANGZHOU - China Southern Airlines said on Thursday it would introduce a "Premium Economy" class service to lure business travelers and the new rich as the global economy improves.

China Southern has taken the lead among domestic airlines giants in offering such a service.

Premium Economy class, with the code W, is a sort of high-end economy class, somewhere between conventional Economy and Business classes.
