First million in annual exports

Statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show auto exports from China broke through million-unit benchmark for the first time last year as 1,056,100 vehicles were shipped overseas, an increase of 30 percent over 2011. The top two exporters were Chery and Geely, both reporting deliveries of more than 100,000 vehicles abroad, followed by Great Wall Motors, SAIC and Lifan, the association said.
