Auto group to up production

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd recently announced that it plans to invest 1.7 billion yuan to double the production capacity of its wholly-owned passenger car unit to 200,000 vehicles a year. The company also said it will invest another 1.15 billion yuan in product development of the Trumpchi, its own passenger car brand.
