The 10th China-ASEAN Expo is not only a venue to exhibit commodities, but also a crucial opportunity to deepen bilateral cooperation, said local officials.

Delegates at the expo's China-ASEAN connectivity conference on Sept 2 reached a consensus that transportation will be expanded in "a down-to-earth manner".

The Chinese government will enhance transport links to Southeast Asia through upgrading infrastructure, industry and services while further promoting trade and investment, said officials.
