Nanjing will host the 21st APEC SME Ministerial Meeting in September. The Jiangsu and Nanjing governments have paid great attention to the meeting and regard it as another important multilateral foreign event following the Youth Olympic Games.

An organizing leadership team has been established with Li Xueyong, governor of Jiangsu, as the head and Miao Ruilin, mayor of Nanjing, as the deputy head.

The Nanjing government also set up a preparation work team headed by me and Ye Rongsheng, deputy secretary general of Nanjing.
