Ma Jian investigated for suspected serious violation of discipline and laws, anti-graft watchdog announces

One of China's top security chiefs in charge of counterespionage operations is under investigation for suspected corruption, the State anti-graft watchdog said on Friday.

Ma Jian, vice-minister of State security, is being investigated for suspected serious violation of discipline and laws, according to the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
