Ex-vice-chairman of advisory body expelled from Party

Five senior officials have been targeted ahead of Spring Festival as the country's anti-corruption campaign continues.

Su Rong, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top political advisory body, has been expelled from the Party and removed from all government positions, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced on Monday.
