Car washer goes green in Baotou

Wash a car without using a drop of water? You've gotta be kidding! Well, no, because in the Jiuyuan district of the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia, one waterless carwash is doing just that and joining the city's green trend in its own fashion.

The carwash in Jiuyuan uses special cleansers that lift the dirt off a vehicle without water and, according to the owner, "This method has numerous advantages – it's water-saving, needs no special location, and is environmentally friendly and, it's especially good up here in the north where washing water can easily freeze in cold weather. So, this method can save troubles," and for almost the same price as a regular wash.
