Sanmenxia promotes tourism in Xi'an

The city of Sanmenxia held a tourism promotion conference in Xi'an, Shaanxi province on July 18 and 19.

Sponsored by Sanmenxia municipal government, the conference aims to boost the city's local tourism and its unique tourism brand. During the conference, the two cities agreed to set up Sanmenxia (Xi'an) tourism marketing center, making deeper tourism integration between the two sides.

Earlier on July 3, the two cities signed a strategic cooperation agreement in enhancing cooperation in 10 areas including education, medical care, science and technology, talents and commerce.

To lift Sanmenxia's tourism brand to a higher level across China, similar promotion conferences will also be held in cities including Weinan, Xianyang, Tianshui and Linfen.
