A husband with a wandering eye seems likely to turn up in court a third time to try to divorce his patient wife, reports Youth Daily.

Zhang and Ye, both widowed, married nine years ago. But Zhang did not cherish his second marriage at all. Instead, he fooled around with other women and frequently came home late. He often abused Ye, as well.

Zhang sued Ye for divorce after he met another woman from Hunan Province in late 1999. But the court denied Zhang's request after Ye pleaded for another chance, saying she still loved Zhang.

To win Zhang back, Ye took even greater care of her husband, but he did not change his ways one bit.

Then Ye got an idea. She secretly bought a cellphone and started sending short messages to Zhang under the alias "crystal purple".

Zhang built a very good relationship with "crystal purple" and came to view her as his bosom friend.

Nevertheless, at the end of 2002, Zhang proposed divorce a second time. But Ye, producing a record of the phone messages she and Zhang had exchanged, moved the judge by arguing that she still loved Zhang and thought she could save their relationship.

But Zhang is now considering divorcing her for the third time.
